Pastor Amy Ochier
Pastor Amy was appointed to serve both First United Methodist Church in Clyde and Green Springs United Methodist Church in July 2022. She previously served as pastor at New Washington United Methodist Church.
She is a Licensed Local Pastor in the East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church and is currently attending Course of Study School through the Methodist Theological School of Ohio.
Pastor Amy believes that her role as a pastor is to encourage, guide, and walk alongside the community of believers (church) as they bring the light of Christ into and serve the world around them. God speaks to Amy most frequently through music and she loves to sing and offer her worship back to God in that way. She enjoys working with youth and young adults as they explore and grow in their faith.
Amy is wife to Rob and mother to her adult children, Jeremy and Ginny. When not busy pastoring, she enjoys watching Friends, listening to all types of music, reading, and camping.
